At the heart of "The Money Revolution" is a 64 page workbook which summarises five key principles. Short application chapters help you apply these principles to ethical spending, savings and pensions, credit and debt, insurance, making a will and giving. The book also contains several worksheets to help you take action on your own finances. (These are available on this site as Excel spreadsheets).
Some support for The Money Revolution :From Archbishop Dr John Sentamu, Archbishop of York : "Your investment in reading this book will return dividends if it helps you express your faith and Christian values in your wider stewardship of the resources God has given you." From Keith Tondeur, founder of Credit Action : "The problem of over indebtedness is causing huge damage to individuals and families in our society today. I believe this issue can only be overcome by applying Biblical Principles to all aspects of handling money and then trying to put Godly principles into practice. Applying the principles found in this book will help you do this." From Peter Maiden, Chair of the Keswick Convention : "Starting with the basic and, in a consumer age, revolutionary principle "Everything belongs to God", John uses Biblical teaching and helpful worksheets to draw transformational lifestyle conclusions that I for one need to face regularly." Canon Peter Howell-Jones, Director of Mission, Diocese of Birmingham : 'Our faith and our finances need to be inter-connected, and this useful book shows us how. ' Paul C. Weaver, Assemblies of God in Great Britain : 'Every Christian should read this book and more importantly apply its principles.' Mark Stibbe, St Andrew's, Chorleywood : 'In an age when too many of us are suffering from "affluenza", this book will produce a revolution in our attitude towards money.' John Glass, Elim Pentecostal Churches : 'A timely and thorough
approach to a subject that Jesus addressed in depth but so often the
Church has taken lightly.' |
